UMRSAAC Annual Charity Raffle
From 1996 through 2009, we have been actively involved in a major fund-raising effort with Apple Valley Ford and local churches. Club members and members of St.Hubert's Catholic Community in Chanhassen, MN have attended car shows and other events during the year to sell raffle tickets. Each year the winning ticket is drawn at the conclusion of our June car show at Apple Valley Ford.
Thus far, in our 14 years we have raised over $ 400,000 to aid charitable causes.
Unfortunately, changes in the economy and increased complexity of managing the raffle have forced us to make a decision. That decision was to suspend the Mustang raffle for 2009-2010. We will be continuing to partcipate in charity fundraising throughout the year, but not in the same manner as we have in the past.
Thank you to all the members of St. Hubert's Catholic Community who helped us year after year. Thank you to John & Duane Paskett who spent many more weekends with the cars than anyone else in the club. And THANK YOU to everyone who bought a ticket in support of our cause.
